At its core is an advanced looping engine offering up to 800 minutes of total recording time across 100 memory slots, allowing players to build full arrangements, store complete setlists, and move fluidly between sections during live performance. Loops can be recorded, overdubbed, rearranged, and recalled with ease, making the GL200 equally suited to stage, studio, and practice use.

The integrated drum machine has also been significantly expanded. Alongside a wide range of built-in rhythms, users can import custom drum kits and MIDI patterns, opening the door to virtually unlimited rhythmic possibilities. MOOER’s DrumMatch AI analyses real-time playing and automatically selects grooves that suit the musical context, providing natural, hands-free accompaniment that evolves with your performance.

Connectivity is a major step forward. Dual TRS MIDI I/O enables tight synchronisation with external drum machines, synths, DAWs, and MIDI controllers, while Bluetooth audio allows backing tracks and practice material to be streamed directly from a phone or tablet — ideal for rehearsals, songwriting, and casual jamming.

Input flexibility makes the GL200 far more than a guitar looper. A combo XLR / ¼” input with phantom power supports microphones and condenser mics, while additional high-impedance ¼” inputs accommodate guitars, basses, and line-level sources. A dedicated headphone output allows for silent practice anywhere.

Auto-record with input detection triggers recording exactly when you begin playing, removing the need for perfectly timed footswitch presses. Time-stretch processing lets you change tempo without altering pitch, ensuring loops stay musical and locked in with drums or external MIDI clock sources.
